CAREGIVERS RETREAT

Are you in a care-giving ministry or situation — personal or professional — that takes much of your time and energy? You spend yourself looking after others, you need some respite yourself, some time to be good to yourself, a “getaway” weekend to experience some of the personal care you give to others.

Each year Manresa Jesuit Retreat House sponsors a relaxing, restful, restorative weekend retreat specifically for men and women who are care givers — professionals like nurses and health care workers, or people who give home care for members of their own family or others. This weekend is designed to minister to you to allow you to be “receivers” of care, grace and spiritual nourishment.

Come rest in the silence and solitude of Manresa's beautiful setting. Find nourishment and refreshment of mind, body, spirit this year. Previous retreats have included such elemenst as:

• Eucharist
• Presentations for quiet prayer
• Time for mutual sharing
• Prayer with Scripture
• Prayer with art media
• Prayer with body movement
• Healing service, with special prayer teams
• Massage therapy - full body, head / neck, hands / feet
• One-on-one conferences with Jesuits and female support staff
