THE DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS
ACCORDING TO ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA
DECEMBER 12 - 14 , 2008 (Fri - Sun)

This workshop includes an analysis of Ignatius' principles for discerning the movements of God and the Evil One in us, practice in using these principles with cases; time for discussion in small and large group settings. Note: This Workshop or its equivalent is a prerequisite for the Workshop on the Discernment of God's Will (below).

Presenters: Fr. Bernie Owens, SJ and Ann Dillon

The workshop begins Friday (7:30 PM) December 12 and ends Sunday (12:30 PM) December 14.
The cost is $170 for residents; $135 for commuters.
The place: Manresa Jesuit Retreat House

Prerequisite: The Workshop on Discernment of Spirits (above) or its equivalent

This workshop is an introduction to the methods of Ignatius of Loyola for seeking and finding "God's Will," the essential conditions for sound and trustworthy discernment, and the ways of discerning. There will be case examples for learning how to apply Ignatius' teachings. Materials will be mailed prior to workshop for your study.
