Days or Evenings of Prayer and Recollection

Besides the days referred to above, Manresa offers days of recollection for individual parishes or other groups. Days, evenings or mornings of prayer, rest, reflection, and recollection can be arranged to fit the needs of the individual group. These may be facilitated by your staff or ours. See Details

Spiritual Direction

Members of the Manresa staff, their schedules permitting, offer regular spiritual direction to those who seek such direction. We can also recommend to those who are interested qualified spiritual directors in the area. What is Spiritual Direction? Contact Ann Dillon for further information.

Pilgrimage - Tours

Each year members of the Manresa staff lead groups on trips overseas — partly tourist travel, partly pilgrimage — like the following:

  • November 5 - 16, 2007 — A trip to Sicily and Rome with Fr. Jim Serrick, SJ.
  • July 22 - 29, 2008 — A pilgrimage to Canada with Fr. Bernie Owens, SJ. Details
  • November 4 - 14, 2008 — A pilgrimage to the Holy Land with Fr. Peter Fennessy, SJ. Details

Hosting Other Groups

Our facilities are available for use by other groups with compatible aims. Many associations have their regular meetings here or run their own programs in our setting. Though we are a Roman Catholic organization, at least 50 groups of other denominations have recently found Manresa a convenient and sympathetic place to gather. For further information contact us
