A WEEKEND RETREAT FOR MARRIED COUPLES
God has had a sighting of all that your marriage can be since
before you and your spouse even met. But how can any of us discover
what His fullest vision for our marriage is? What has He really
made possible? What is He really offering us, and how do we get
from here to there? Is there a certain way to find out? Come and
see.
Our facilitators, Deacon Bob and Kathy Ovies have been married
and ministering together for 41 years. Bob has been Director of
the Office for Family Life and Chaplain to Archdiocesan Marriage-Support
Groups. Kathy is Director of Evangelization and Youth Ministry
at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish, a former Archdiocesan Prison
Minister and a former parochial high- and middle-school teacher.
They have conducted numerous workshops, retreats and spiritual
renewal programs, and together created the Couple Prayer Series
(www.coupleprayer.org), a successful in-home program to help couples
learn how to pray together more safely, comfortably and consistently.
You are encouraged to share in this special retreat about how
you as a couple can find all that God promises your marriage can
be.
