DESCRIPTION:Jan. 13 | Feb. 10 | Mar. 10 | Apr. 14 | May 12 | June 9 \nEngaging with the Living Word of God \nHow do we draw closer to God amidst the challenges of modern life? \nThe ancient prayer practice of lectio divina\, enhanced with guidance from St. Ignatius’ teachings\, can help us discover how God is speaking to us today\, in our daily life. We listen deeply to God’s Word\, we have the opportunity to share what God is saying to us\, what we are feeling and experiencing\, and we pray for the specific grace we seek. \nManresa’s Lectio Prayer Group provides a way to grow in our journey to finding God in all things. Consider joining us. \nFacilitators: Paula Dow and Kay Dodson completed Manresa’s Internship in Ignatian Spirituality. They are both experienced in leading lectio divina. \n*Registered participants will receive an email reminder prior to each meeting with a Zoom link to connect to the meeting.

SUMMARY:Individually Directed Retreat—Session I
DESCRIPTION:Every summer we reserve dedicated sessions for Individually Directed Retreats (IDRs) with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a Jesuit or trained lay person. The experience can help you slow down\, become more aware of God’s love and presence in your life\, and help deepen a loving relationship with God. There’s a special atmosphere in the house when people come together for a shared purpose\, growing closer to the Lord and to one another in silent\, prayerful communion. \n“In-session” dates allow for eight-day retreats as well as retreats of shorter duration (four-day minimum within session dates/times). Arrival time begins at 5:00 PM on the opening date of the retreat session\, dinner is at 6:00 PM and the retreat itself begins at 7:30 PM. The retreat ends at 10:00 AM on the closing date of the retreat session. Alternately\, individuals may choose “out-of-session” dates for IDRs between September and April each year.

SUMMARY:Christian Yoga for body\, mind & spirit - Spring 2025 Session
DESCRIPTION:Apr. 7\, 14\, 21\, 28 | May 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 \nChristian Yoga is a form of prayer in which we place ourselves in a position to be present in the moment with God\, with a focus on breath. As we move through postures accompanied by meditative quiet and prayer\, we find balance\, strength and union of our whole self with God. In the end\, this brings us to our quiet center to be still with God and to know His peace. Join us for this healthy\, healing practice in an atmosphere of prayer and meditation. \nInstructor: Mary Gresens is a graduate of Manresa’s Internship in Spiritual Companionship\, certified yoga instructor and first degree black belt Nia teacher. \nZoom instructions will be emailed to registered participants prior to each session.
