Sr. Linda Sevcik, SM, is a Marist Sister originally from Wheeling, West Virginia. She began her studies at Marygrove College and received her MA in Education from the University of Detroit Mercy. She has a Licentiate in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome where she studied at the Institute of Psychology. Her ministerial experience is in teaching, counseling and spiritual direction. Presently she serves in leadership in her community, while maintaining a commitment to teach seminarians at the Institute for Priestly Formation one month a year at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She is a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and her particular interest is formational: how best to help people in ongoing spiritual and human growth, and the integral connections between them.
