Faith That Does Justice: Understanding and Living the Gift of Catholic Social Teaching
What does the Church actually call us to—and how do we live it? This fall, we invite you into a rich conversation that connects ancient tradition to the pressing questions of our time.
Fr. Tim McCabe, SJ and Fr. David Buersmeyer will guide us through three evenings of learning, reflection and dialogue—drawing on the deep wells of Ignatian spirituality and the Church’s bold social vision.
What we’ll explore together
- A clear, grounded framework for understanding what the Church means by Catholic Social Teaching
- How the Ignatian call to contemplation in action makes this teaching come alive in daily life
- What our faith has to say about today’s hardest questions — from the use of military force in Iran, to immigration, to Pope Leo’s landmark encyclical on artificial intelligence
Whether you are new to Catholic Social Teaching or looking to deepen a lifelong commitment, this series offers space to learn, ask hard questions and discern how your faith calls you to act.
This series is FREE; donations accepted. All are welcome.
