Holy Week Retreat for Men and Women
Silent Retreat for men and women based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
Patron: Fr. Pierre Teilard de Chardin, SJ | Retreat Theme: Holy Week: Companions at Calvary | Retreat Format: Silent | Director: Fr. Robert Flack, SJ | Note: No lunch on Saturday, final day of retreat.
Holy Week is the ideal time to move aside from one’s ordinary concerns, to come away into the quiet and to spend some time pondering the mysteries of Jesus’ passion, death and resurrection. We will walk with our Lord on the road to Calvary as if we were with Him, from His final meal with His disciples until the break of dawn on Easter morning. In addition to the presentations and ample time for personal prayer and reflection, the retreat includes the Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper, the Good Friday Celebration of the Lord’s Passion, a healing service and a Holy Saturday morning Prayer Service.
